11KV Type tested Switchgear
The system is designed to effectively operate on 11KV, 630A, 3 phase, 50 Hz supply through 99.9% pure sleeved copper bus bar, protected by innovative cassette type Vaccum Circuit breaker (VCB) in a compact cubicle layout for efficiency as per IEC Standards. A customized solution as per client requirement is our forte.
Wapda Approved MV Switchgear
The pioneers in WAPDA Type Tested switchgear as per P44:96 specs operated on 11KV, 630A, 3 phase 50Hz through trolley based VCB. The following panels are offered to DISCOS/WAPDA and governing bodies. Currently, FICO is redesigning the new Wapda Approved cassette based VCB panel with strategic collaboration with ABB, Italy for innovation, demand and technical compliance.

What Is an MV Switchgear Panel?
A medium voltage (MV) switchgear panel is a metal-enclosed assembly that switches, protects, and isolates electrical circuits operating in the medium voltage range — generally between 1 kV and 36 kV. It sits at the point where power arrives from the grid, a generator, or a transformer and is distributed onward into a facility. Its job is to keep power flowing under normal conditions and isolate a fault before it spreads and damages downstream equipment.
A typical MV switchgear panel includes:
- Circuit breakers that interrupt fault
